Quoting Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that “Muslims shouldn’t be treated as substance for votes or looked down upon but should be considered as equals” at Upadhyaya’s centenary celebrations in Kozhikode.
PM Modi also announced that India will be ratifying the Paris Agreement on 2 October, Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
