Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot on 11 December in Italy. The internet has been buzzing with the news, pictures and videos of the Virushka wedding. The ceremony took place at the exquisite Borgo Finocchieto near Siena, which will be followed by a reception to be held in Delhi on 21 December and Mumbai on 26 December.

Anushka Sharma is a 29-year-old actor and producer who was born in Ayodhya. Hailing from a military background, Anushka was raised in Bangalore. Anushka then moved to Mumbai to further her modelling career, where she had her brush of success as she was cast along with Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Along with her brother, she is also the founder of Clean Slate Films, that have films like NH10 and Phillauri under its banner. Anushka Sharma also launched her own clothing line, labelled Nush earlier in 2017.
29-year-old Virat Kohli captains the Indian national cricket team and as an international cricketer, is hugely popular. Ranked as the one the most famous athletes by ESPN, Virat Kohli is also known as the finest batsman that India has seen. Virat was born in Delhi into a Punjabi family.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli started dating in 2013, and kept their relationship guarded till the day they got married in December 2017. The wedding, too, was kept under wraps, and most rumours were dismissed. However, the couple managed to surprise most of the media by tying the knot in the picturesque locales of Tuscany, Italy.
