The Quint caught up with India’s star boxer Vijender Singh ahead of his fight against Francis Cheka at New Delhi.
The 31-year-old, who won the WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title in July, will be defending his title against Tanzania’s Francis Cheka in New Delhi on Saturday.
The Haryana lad spoke about why he is not nervous about the fight and whether he is interested in participating in the 2020 Olympics or not.
The Professional boxers were allowed to compete at the Olympics for the first time ahead of the Rio Games, but by the time the AIBA changed its rules, it was too late for Vijender to qualify for the Games.
