Everest is an upcoming 3D action disaster film directed by Baltasar Kormakur, based on the real events of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster that led to the deaths of several climbers.
Starring Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Hawkes and Robin Wright, Everest is based on the non-fiction novel Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mt Everest Disaster by Jon Krakauer
