In the wake of the Orlando shooting, US President Barack Obama said that although there was no information that a foreign terrorist group was responsible, it was clear that the killer took in extremist information and propaganda over the internet.
He added that the US and its allies have taken out over 120 top Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL or ISIS) leaders and commanders, and it is the their mission to destroy the group.
With Coalition strikes on oil structure and supply lines, Obama said that ISIL’s income had been cut by millions of dollars.
