It’s that time of the year when Durga and her nine forms are worshiped by Bengalis and non-Bengalis alike.

The reverence that some citizens of Bengal’s Nadia district have for their Chief Minister is so high, that this year they decided to portray her as the goddess Durga.
The depiction is spot on. The features nearly a clone of Mamata Didi. The statue is draped in Mamata Banerjee’s trademark saree, each of her hands seems to be supporting a pillar of development like railways, education, infrastructure.
