19-Year-old Tarishi Jain was among the 20 foreigners killed by ISIS militants in the Dhaka’s Holey Artisan Bakery attack on Friday night. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj spoke with Tarishi Jain’s father Sanjeev Jain and shared the tragic news on Twitter.
Tarishi was a student at California’s UC Berkeley and was in Dhaka for an internship. Her father has been running a garment business in Bangladesh for last 15-20 years.
