Student Cracks IIT Exam From an Open Jail in Kota

Piyush Meena cracked IIT JEE while staying at an 8x8 cell in a correction facility in Kota. Piyush’s father is a murder convict and the father-son duo resided in at the open jail.

His father, Phoolchand said that financially, they were not strong enough to let his son study in the hostel.

Piyush said that it was a result of his father’s dedication. He said that his father had put his heart and soul to help his son clear IIT exam. His efforts were successful as Piyush secured the 453rd rank in this JEE Mains 2016 which is the entrance exam for IIT.
