The Supreme Court refused Somnath Bharti’s bail plea after his estranged wife, Lipika Mitra, refused to go for any kind of mediation on Momday.
Lipika Mitra said that she was not inclined to join mediation for an amicable resolution. She has accused Somnath of domestic violence and attempt to murder.
Disposing off his earlier plea seeking anticipatory bail, the SC has asked him to approach the trial court for his regular bail. The court has asked the trial court to decide his bail application expeditiously.
