It’s Business as Usual for Commuters of the Samjhauta Express

Commuters of the Samjhauta Express call for peace between India & Pakistan.

At a time when India and Pakistan are engaged in a war of words, it’s business as usual for the iconic Samjhauta Express, which helps people commute to each other’s nations.

Returning to Karachi after having visited her daughter in New Delhi, a commuter asserts that love between the two nations has not withered away.

But the love is not lost even on those residing in India as well. This New Delhi resident dispelled perceptions that posits Pakistan as an unsafe country.

Worried that mounting tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours may lead to further unrest and hostility, commuters of this cross-border express hope that peace and amity may soon return to the region.
