The Rajasthan State Commission for Women member Somya Gurjar, who took a selfie with an alleged rape survivor, resigned on Thursday. She has been summoned by the National Commission for Women, which demanded an explanation.

The selfie wasn’t clicked for entertainment. The survivor wanted to click a picture. We also wanted a picture of the tattoo for investigation. It shouldn’t be leaked.
