As of July 2015, 237 people have been mowed down by moving trains. To check the increasing number of train accidents Railway Police in Uttar Pradesh is using a one-minute WhatsApp clip to warn passengers.

The clip has been borrowed from the iconic scene of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), where Simran (played by Kajol) is seen running to catch a moving train and unite with her lover Raj (Shah Rukh Khan). Unlike in the movie, Simran and Raj in the animation clip, do not have a happy ending.

In the video, Simran while running towards the moving train, slips on a banana peel and gets run over by a moving train. Raj, who is sticking his head outside the train, gets his head severed after it hits a pole.

The message is loud and clear, ‘Do not catch a moving train’ and ‘Don’t stick your head out of a moving train’.
