Why Does iPhone 7 Cost Rs 60,000 in India?
Apple’s latest flagship launches on 7 October in India and costs a whopping Rs 60,000 for the 32GB variant.
With each iPhone sold in India, Apple makes a staggering 130 percent profit. If they are serious about penetrating India, the world’s second largest mobile phone market, then they must consider reducing their profit margin and increasing distribution to reach more customers.
But from the launch price of Rs. 60,000, it appears Apple is pretty set in its stubborn ways and would rather opt for the high profit margin and sell less phones, than make less profit and sell a higher number of devices.
