1. Pakistan JIT Visit Pathankot Airbase

The Pakistan Joint Investigation Team arrives at the Pathankot airbase, amid protests by Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers outside the airbase. A large number of security personnel, including Punjab Police SWAT team, were deployed for the visit. The media, however, was kept at the bay.

An EgyptAir domestic flight MS181 from Alexandria to Cairo was hijacked on Tuesday and diverted to Cyprus. Hijacker identified as Seif el Din Mustafa has been arrested.

Haryana Assembly today unanimously passed a Bill to provide reservation to Jats and five other communities in government jobs and educational institutions, ahead of the 3 April deadline set by the community which had launched a violent agitation last month.
