Power at Power Minister Piyush Goyal’s Briefing Went out THRICE!

Piyush Goyal, Union Power Minister, faced an embarrassing situation on Friday, when a power cut occurred while he was addressing a press conference.

The Minister of State with Independent charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy was interacting with journalists at the Press Information Bureau in New Delhi to explain achievements of his ministry and future plans on completion of two years of the Narendra Modi government.

The situation turned into a joke when the interactive session was on and suddenly there was a blackout leaving the minister in the dark.

The Minister tried to hide the “humiliation” for the power cut with a joke.

The power was back after a few seconds.

Goyal later released a booklet on achievements of his ministry.
