Rashtriya Lok Dal chief and gathbandhan candidate from Muzaffarnagar, Chaudhary Ajit Singh, spoke to The Quint on PM Modi's 'SHARAB' comment. Singh said that PM Modi is “a campaigner and and cannot rise above that role.”
He argued that PM Modi has nothing to do with farmers and he doesn't say a word about agricultural distress or farmers' issues. On Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, he said that this is a polarised election, with the alliance contesting against the BJP.
