Sanjay Dutt unveiled the teaser for his upcoming film Prasthanam on his 60th birthday on 29 July. The actor was joined by his wife and co-producer Maanayata Dutt and co-stars Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala and Ali Fazal, who also brought in his birthday with a special cake.

Prasthanam is a political drama based on the 2010 Telugu film of the same name. It has been directed by Deva Katta, who also helmed the original, and produced by Sanjay S Dutt Productions. Prasthanam releases on 20 September.
Speaking about the film, producer Maanyata Dutt said, "We are proud to have Prasthanam as our first Hindi presentation under our banner. The film is an intense thrilling drama, whose essence will resonate with Indian audiences. The teaser which will be unveiled today is our gift to Sanju's fans and thank them for their tremendous love and support through his journey."
Sanjay’s character in Prashanth Neel directorial KGF Chapter 2, a sequel to Yash-starrer KGF Chapter 1 was also revealed on his birthday. He will play the villain Adheera, who will go head to head against Yash’s character Rocky to gain control over the Kolar gold mines.
