Now Sky Cycle in Philippines, ET-Style
If you’re into adventure sports and are planning a tour, Philippines has something for you. Check it out.
Now you can cycle through the air like ET – thanks to a unique bicycle zip line. The gravity-defying tourist attraction lets cyclists ride through the air, 150 feet above the ground.
In Carmen, Philippines, the 225-metre wire connects two peaks in the picturesque Chocolate Hills.
Ian Maclean, from Hawaii, filmed his families trip to the new attraction.
It isn’t for the faint hearted. A woman panicked on the line while I was there. Staff had to cycle out to rescue her. It can be scary up there for some first time riders and she just froze. But if you can hack the heights it is a very beautiful and unique experience.
– Ian Maclean, Tourist
Before boarding, visitors must be subjected to a health evaluation by a nurse. And before enjoying the views from the comfort of your saddle, 430 steps have to be climbed just to reach the starting point.
