Narendra Modi lauded Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s Union Budget, calling it “uttam”. The Prime Minister said the Budget was devoted to strengthening the hands of the poor.
Modi even acknowledged that the merger of the Railway Budget with the general Budget will give an impetus to the transport sector's growth. Further, he added that the government’s commitment to eliminate corruption and black money is reflected in the Budget.
