It has been nearly four years since Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were convicted by a special CBI court for the murder of their daughter Aarushi, and domestic help Hemraj. But on Thursday, the Allahabad High Court overturned that conviction and set the Talwars free, in the latest development of a saga that has gripped the nation since 2008.

Senior advocate Rebecca John, who has represented the Talwars from the beginning, expressed her satisfaction at the verdict, and discussed the case in detail with The Quint.
