2. PM Modi in Sri Lanka
Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his way to neighbouring Sri Lanka today on the occasion of International Vesak Day. This is his second visit to Sri Lanka in two years and there have been a lot of key outcomes of this visit.
As a part of his Buddhism outreach programme, the Prime Minister announced a direct Air India flight from Colombo to Varanasi. He has also announced the building of 10,000 additional homes in Sri Lanka for Indian-origin Tamilians.

4. National Herald Case: Delhi HC Orders I-T Probe on Sonia, Rahul
In what looks like a setback for Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and beta Rahul, the Delhi High Court has ordered an Income Tax department probe on the Young India Company, which is at the heart of the National Herald case.
The court said the company ‘cannot be so arrogant’, and will have to submit their documents to the I-T department.
