Parishika Das, an 11- year-old girl who lives in Kolmoguri (Assam), is one of the tiniest girls in the world. She is only 23 inches tall and weighs 22 pounds, same as a six-month-old baby.
Parishika spends his whole day on her mother’s lap as she cannot walk or talk and has only a few teeth in her mouth.
"She was a weak child, but we did not realise she was suffering from any disorder until she stopped growing after two years of age," says her mother
The tiny girl is showered with love from people in her village. People come and play with her for hours. Parishika needs special treatment which his parents cannot afford.
