Dressed in a bright pink t-shirt and a lungi, former CM Siddaramaiah spoke candidly to the three Congress MLAs who had come to visit him at the natural therapy centre in Dakshina Kannada district, last week.

The JD(S) should remember that the Congress brought them to power, said the former Karnataka chief minister, adding that JD(S) should retain the budget he had presented ahead of the elections.

2. Watch: Model Gilu Joseph on the Breastfeeding Photo Controversy

Gilu Joseph found herself in the middle of a controversy in March 2018, when she posed as a breastfeeding mother for the cover of Mathrubhumi’s bi-weekly Grihalakshmi, with the text on the magazine cover stating, “Mothers tell Kerala: please stop staring, we need to breastfeed.”

The Kerala High Court dismissed the petitions in June 2018, stating, “As beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, so does obscenity, perhaps.”

Gilu spoke to The Quint about her decision to appear on Grihalakshmi’s cover for their ‘Breastfeeding Freely’ campaign, her family life, and her career.
