A bakery in Dubai pays tribute to ‘Game of Thrones’ with an edible gold encrusted cake that looks like a sculpture of ‘Tyrion Lannister’ on throne. One of the clients of Broadway Bakery, who is a die hard Game of Thrones fan, ordered this special cake.
It took a team of 20 chefs 4 working hours daily over 3 weeks to make this cake. Their leading cake decorator took three weeks to make the head. Every inch of Tyrion’s face has been detailed to a whole new level.

The highly detailed cake has 28 grams of real edible gold. As a result the cake costs over $27,000 , a hundred thousand dirhams to be specific. Among the most expensive cakes ever made in the world, this cake stands 4 feet tall and weighs almost 32 kg. The cake can serve over 100 people.
Tyrion would be highly pleased to see the cake. On a second thought, maybe he wouldn’t like so many people eating and finishing him.
