A new surveillance video from the Shangri-La Hotel in Sri Lanka’s Colombo shows two suspects in an elevator as well at a restaurant right before the blast occurred.

The Shangri-La Hotel was one of the three hotels that was targeted on Easter Sunday, the other two being the Cinnamon Grand and the Kingsbury. Three churches were also attacked in the Sunday bombings, which have claimed the lives of at least 359 people so far.

In the video, one can see the two suspects getting out of the elevator on the third floor carrying backpacks. At what seems to be a restaurant at the hotel, at least one of the suspects is again seen in a crowd of people.

Earlier on Tuesday, CCTV footage showing a suspected suicide bomber walking into the St Sebastian’s church in Sri Lanka’s Negombo had surfaced. The footage showed the man carrying a backpack.

The Islamic State on Tuesday had claimed responsibility for the devastating blasts in the island nation through its Amaq news agency. The Sri Lankan police has said the investigation has confirmed that there were nine suicide bombers, of whom eight have been identified. One of the nine bombers was reportedly a woman.

Sri Lankan authorities had blamed a local extremist group, National Thowheed Jamath, for the attacks.

Over 60 people have been arrested in connection with the incident, in which at least 10 Indian have also lost their lives.
