Firemen in Los Angeles saved the day when they rescued a dog from a blaze in Santa Monica.
Nalu the dog had lost consciousness after his house caught fire. His owners alerted the firefighters, who worked to locate and retrieve the canine from the flames.
The firefighters searching the interior for victims discovered an unresponsive dog that was overcome by heat and smoke. The dog was quickly pulled from the structure not breathing and without a pulse.Santa Monica fire department, in a statement
Santa Monica firefighter Andrew Klein performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on the dog.
According to a statement by the Santa Monica fire department, firefighters performed CPR and used a pet oxygen mask on Nalu for almost 20 minutes until his breathing was restored.
