In an exclusive conversation, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Jayant Sinha, told The Quint’s Editorial Director Sanjay Pugalia that air travel is set to go digital. He said that ‘Digi Yatra’ will ensure digital boarding passes for flyers.
Additionally, using Aadhaar while booking air tickets will ensure that security checks would be completed by fingerprints. Attempts are being made to make all of these processes paper-less.
