In a shocking video, a woman on a scooter is run over by a cement tanker in eastern China.
The incident took place in Jinhua City in Zhejiang Province on Tuesday, 7 August, when a car driver, suddenly opening his door, ended up knocking down a scooter driver passing by.
The woman on the scooter fell off and rolled on the ground before she was hit by a cement tanker.
The car driver went to check on the woman immediately and called the police.
According to reports, the woman scooter driver lying on the road gave her family’s number to the car driver and asked him to contact them. The woman was then rushed to a hospital in an ambulance.
The woman probably wouldn’t have survived if it wasn’t for the helmet. She escaped death with only minor head injuries.
Reports later said the case was being investigated by police.
