An undertrial prisoner attacked two cops who were on guard, at a police station in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind on 9 September.
The incident, which was caught on CCTV cameras installed in the police station, shows the prisoner attacking the policemen from behind and hit them on the head. The two policemen fell unconscious after being attacked from such a vulnerable position.
The policemen are undergoing treatment presently. One has been referred to Delhi for treatment while the other has been admitted to the Bhind district hospital.
The footage also shows the unidentifiable silhouette of another man who allegedly assisted the suspect.
