Akash Ambani, son of Reliance Industries Ltd Chairman Mukesh Ambani, got engaged to Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamond magnate Russell Mehta on 24 March. A number of celebrities from the world of Bollywood and cricket were in attendance at the engagement bash on 26 March.
Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Karan Johar were among those spotted at the party.
Akash wore a blue, three-piece suit for the occasion, while Shloka wore a silver-maroon gown.
The two were reportedly engaged at a private ceremony in Goa, where only close friends were invited.
Akash and Shloka are alumni of the Dhirubhai Ambani International School, as per a report in The Indian Express.
As per an IANS report, Shloka, the youngest of the three Mehta children, is the director of Rosy Blue Foundation and the co-founder of ConnectFor, an organisation that matches volunteers with NGOs. Shloka's elder sister Diya recently married Ayush Jatia, the son of business tycoon Amit Jaiya (of Hardcastle Restaurants). Akash currently heads strategy at Jio, Reliance Industry's 4G service provider.
