It was a ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’ moment for the Opposition at HD Kumaraswamy’s oath-taking ceremony in Bengaluru on Wednesday, 23 May. Former National Democratic Alliance (NDA) allies joined hands with the Congress, and arch-rivals shared dais at the event.

Arch-rivals in Bengal, Saath Saath in Bengaluru

Adversaries in the Bengal battle, Mamata Banerjee and Sitaram Yechury, shared the dais, joined hands and even smiled for the cameras at HD Kumaraswamy’s oath-taking ceremony. Banerjee was one of the first leaders to congratulate the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) leaders and confirm her presence at the ceremony.

Bua And Bhatija’s Badhta Hua Bonhomie
