For the first time post the acquittal of parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar by the Allahabad High Court, Aarushi’s Grandfather Gp Capt BG Chitnis (Retd.) expresses his gratitude on the verdict.
Thanking the HC for their verdict, he said that he was glad that now the nation knows that the parents are innocent and not capable of committing a crime.
He said that he was thankful to the family, friends and even the media, for supporting them. He believes Meghna Gulzar and Vishal Bharadwaj’s film ‘Talvar’ and Avirook Sen’s book ‘Aarushi’ have influenced many.

Talking about the fight that lies ahead, he said that the family was not keen on fighting anymore unless forced to.
In case CBI goes to the SC we have to fight it out, there is no other alternative.
