As India celebrates the festival of Holi, Aam Aadmi Party’s poet-politician Kumar Vishwas seems to have one song for every neta in the country.

From Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Vishwas, surrounded by his partners in music, kept on churning out one song after another.

When asked about allegations of assault on Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash by AAP lawmakers, Vishwas in his musical tone added “A midnight assault on the Delhi Chief Secretary has come as an embarrassment to the government. Ask the chief minister about it, and he says Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s to blame for it all.”

On the infamous scam involving celebrity diamond designer Nirav Modi, and the BJP-led Centre’s inability to bring him back to India, Vishvas bantered, “ Nirav and Mallya ran past a sleeping guard. But when you ask how, they says it’s all Nehru’s fault.”

On his reported differences with those in power within the AAP government, Vishwas said “There were times when family elders resolved differences between members and brought back those who had gone astray. But the present game of political chess has absolved them all of love, affection and responsibility.”

On the Congress’ state of affairs, in the wake of Rahul Gandhi’s promotion to the post of party president, Vishwas added, “The Congress is led by the youthfulness of a 48-year-old. But Rahul’s chances of marriage are scuttled by an absolute lack of majority.”

Talking of upcoming elections in Rajasthan and the BJP’s swanky new headquaters in New Delhi, Vishwas noted, “Modi has made a new office, leaving Amit Shah spellbound. Yet, their souls are trapped in poll-bound Rajasthan.”

Taking the example further, Kumar bantered that “while Amit Shah’s anxious about Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje losing ground, it’s the Congress’ Sachin Pilot who has his eyes set on elections in the state.”
