A total of 59 constituencies across eight states will vote in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections on Sunday, 19 May. A total of 918 candidates across the constituencies are in the fray.

Here is a look at some key statistics from the phase 7 of the LS polls:

At least 170 candidates have criminal cases against them.

  • BJP: 18
  • Congress: 14
  • BSP: 6
  • AAP: 3
  • Independent: 29

There are at least 278 candidates who have assets worth Rs 1 crore or more.

  • BJP: 36
  • Congress: 40
  • BSP: 11

Counting for all the phases will be conducted on 23 May.
