My Son Gave Birth to a Responsible Father: Emraan Hashmi

“My son gave birth to a responsible father,” says popular Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi. Known for films like Murder, Jannat, Shanghai, Emraan unveiled the first look of his book The Kiss of Life at the Penguin Random House Spring Fever 2016, which was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

He shared some excerpts from the book involving his family and his struggles, the time when his son Ayan was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer called the ‘Wilms Tumor’ at the age of 3.

He emphasised the fact that his son taught him to be a better human being and that when life hits hard, one should not stop fighting.
