In August 1986, renowned Mumbai-based gynaecologist Dr Indira Hinduja led a team of doctors to deliver India’s second test tube baby via a cesarean section. The baby was named Harsha Chavda.

30 years later now, Harsha Chavda is all grown up. She’s an accountant by profession and has just delivered a healthy baby boy, weighing 3.18 kg with the help of the same set of doctors who helped give birth to her.

Dr Hinduja, the pioneer of in-vitro technology in India has delivered more than 15,000 test tube babies since Harsha.
