After two phenomenal fiction original shows, Inside Edge and Breathe, Amazon Prime comes up with another show to take our breathe away! Produced by Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur is an Indian crime thriller, gangster web series slated to release on 16 November.
The cast and crew of Mirzapur came together for a press meet where they discussed the making of the gangster saga and the challenges they faced. They also shared the gripping soundtrack of the show playing in the trailer and revealed that the second season of Mirzapur is already in the works! Watch the highlights of the press meet below:
16 November will see the clash of two gangs, one in India and the other in South America. The first season of Amazon Prime’s Mirzapur and season 4 of Netflix drama Narcos will both premier on their respective platforms on the same day.
Pankaj Tripathi appears in the series as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Duddu Pandit, Vikrant Massey as Bablu Pandit, Divyendu Sharma as Munna Tripathi, Rasika Dugal as Bina Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi as Golu Gupta, Sriya Pilgaonkar as Sweety Gupta, Harshit Gaur as Dimpy Pandit and Amit Sial as Mourya Sahab.
Mirzapur is directed by Karan Anshuman, Mihir Desai and Gurmmeet Singh.
