The human race has conducted 2,153 nuclear bomb tests since 1945.

And each one of them is included in this visualisation with the date, location, and strength of each nuclear detonation. Red dots refer to atmospheric detonations, blue to underwater, and yellow to underground ones.

The video was created by Canada-based musicians Orbital Mechanics, and named “Trinity” after the first nuclear detonation test in New Mexico in 1945.
