A 32-year-old unemployed man from Puducherry set himself ablaze, only to go and hug a minor who refused his marriage proposal over a year ago.
G Senthil, entered the minor’s house on Saturday with a five-litre petrol can, locking all points of escape.
While Senthil succumbed to his burns, the girl is critically injured and is being treated in a hospital.
