Left for Dead, an Orangutan Is Nursed Back to Health by Rescuers

This footage of a baby orangutan being nursed back to health after he was left for dead in a cardboard box will melt your heart.

Gito, an adorable baby orangutan, was found lying nearly lifeless in a urine-soaked cardboard box in Borneo. When charity International Animal Rescue found the tiny ape with barely any hair and grey, flaky skin, in an almost mummified state, they feared he was already dead, but fighter Gito has gone on to made a miraculous recovery.
