The world premiere of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle was held in Mumbai on Sunday night and the event saw stars from the film - Christian Bale, Andy Serkis and Freida Pinto - fly down to India to attend the big screening. Also in attendance were the actors who have voiced the Hindi version of the Netflix film - Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Kareena Kapoor. Mowgli directed by Andy Serkis is scheduled to release in theatres on 29 November and will be streaming on Netflix from 7 December onwards.
Mowgli has been executed with performance capture technology and has Christian Bale and Andy Serkis playing the roles of Bagheera and Baloo respectively. The Hindi version has Abhishek voicing Bagheera, Anil as Baloo, Kareena as Kaa, Madhuri’s voice for Nisha and Jackie Shroff voicing for Sher Khan.
