JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi Cries Foul: BJP Framing Me, I’m Innocent

Manorama Devi, a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) from Gaya and a member of the Janata Dal United (JD-U) leader was sent to 14-days judicial custody by a local court on Tuesday.

The Bihar government had issued an arrest warrant against Manorama Devi in a case of illicit liquor possession on Wednesday, 11 May. Manorama Devi is the mother of Gaya road-rage accused, Rocky Yadav, who was arrested. Manorama Devi’s husband and Rocky’s father Binny Yadav too has been arrested earlier.
