Japan Holds Auditions to Find Ninjas for 2020 Olympics

Everyone dreams about being a real-life ninja when they are growing up, but people in Japan have been given the opportunity to live the dream. Hopefuls auditioned to become one of six dazzling new ninjas who will take to the world stage and represent Japan’s Aichi Prefecture ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games.

Hundreds of applicants auditioned for the unusual job role which pays £1100 a month and six lucky applicants, aged between 20 and 30 were chosen.

The six ninjas, Kazuya Saji (28), Masumi Arima (27), Ryouji Kawai (22), Toshiki Ikuma (22), Mie Yamada (30) and Seiki Fushida (20), will now begin work on their ninja training schedule.
