Pakistan foreign office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria responded to India’s surgical strikes at Line of Control saying that India is trying to disrupt peace in the region. Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Mohammed Asif added that the move by India was a very well thought out plan.
Pakistan MP Shaikh Rohale Asghar added that both the countries cannot afford escalation of hostilities as both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers. On the other hand Pakistan’s ally China said that they are keeping the communication open and hope that India and Pakistan enhance dialogue.
