In a strange case of animal cruelty, a horse was strangled to death by a few men in Haryana’s Jind area. A video, which captures the incident, shows two cops helping the men strangle the animal.
The men said that the horse was ‘mentally disturbed’ and had bitten many people.
“She bit a lot of people and damaged a car. She rammed into bikes and injured a few people. We called police first, but got no response,” one of the accused said.
Then we called the forest department, but they refused to help us saying it’s not their responsibility. Some police officers came from Civil Police line. The horse was mentally disturbed so we thought killing her was the last option
Ten people involved in the incident have been booked. An inquiry has been initiated against the two cops seen in the video.
