This video captures a seven-year-old boy’s hand getting wedged in an escalator at a shopping mall in Raipur.
Sajan Daheriya was left trapped in excruciating pain for over two hours, after his left hand got stuck in the escalator.
The boy was playing with marbles when he slipped and his hand got trapped in the mechanical stairway. Sajan was freed only after a rescue crew cut the large metal plates from the escalator, which took them two hours.
A case of negligence has been filed against the company that had installed the escalator.
