Naezy, short for ‘Naved is Crazy’, is not just making waves - but creating a tsunami in the Indian hip-hop scene. Unlike most rappers, Naezy brings in a social element into his music, trying to bring about a change in today’s complacent youth. No wonder Zoya Akhtar found inspiration in him for her upcoming directorial venture: Gully Boy.
Gully Boy is set to star Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, a pairing yet to hit the silver screen.
As the first rapper to be launched on Saavn’s new project, Artist Originals - a venture aimed at bringing underground artists to light, Naezy is surely deserving of such an opportunity. You can listen to ‘Azaad Hu Main’, exclusively here: http://saa.vn/artistoriginalsnaezy
