The 2012 Olympic bronze medallist Gagan Narang failed to qualify for the finals of the 50m Rifle Prone event at the ISSF World Cup, and Chain Singh finished seventh in the same event on Tuesday.

Narang, who spoke to The Quint after the event, said that there was strange wind and he struggled to find his rhythm during the competition.

The 33-year-old said that he wants to focus more on air rifle this year.

Chain Singh chatted with The Quint about playing in one’s home range and the implementation of Abhinav Bindra’s recommendations to improve Indian shooting after Rio Olympics.
