Buying a TV today is no child’s play. With almost a gazillion options in the market, one often gets confused as to which one to go for. There are some out there who do not want to compromise on quality and prefer going for much expensive brands like Samsung and Sony.
But, in the last few years, the TV segment has been flooded with Chinese players like Xiaomi and Indian TV makers like VU and TCL are also making inroads into the budget segment for televisions.
This sudden inflow of foreign players has drastically affected the prices of the televisions where even 4K TVs are selling at affordable prices. One such option is the VU 4K 55-inch Smart UHD TV which comes in at Rs 53,000.
But, if 4k can get this economical, so can full HD. I am talking about the Xiaomi Mi 4A full HD Smart TV which is available at just Rs 23,999.
But should you really spend that extra buck and go for a 4K smart TV that’s loaded with features and also gives you the big screen experience, or should you settle for full HD at a very economical price bracket?
Aadeetya has been trying to convince me to go for a full HD TV and feels that the Xiaomi Mi TV 4A comes with enough tech that a consumer would want in a smart TV. But, there are the few like me who would prefer the big screen experience and also being a gamer, there’s nothing better than the thrill of 4K gaming on a big 4K screen like the VU.
