Devendra Jhajharia became the first Indian to win two Paralympic golds after winning the javelin throw at Rio. Jhajharia, who recorded a throw of 63.97m, broke his own world record of 62.15m, which he recorded at the Athens Paralympic Games in 2004.
Jhajharia has been recommended for the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award along with hockey player Sardar Singh.
